Bookseller’s Business, Rare Book Collection, Personal Belongings and Home All Gone

Bookseller’s Business, Rare Book Collection, Personal Belongings and Home All Gone

A friend, who is also a former classmate, and his wife lost everything in the recent Redwood Complex Fire that engulfed Redwood Valley, California.  Their town is in Mendocino County.

It is hard to imagine the feelings Tim and Kate Roemer are experiencing from this tragic event.

So often people want to help, but either they don’t know how or who to help on a personal level and don’t want to donate to large organizations.  There is a way you can help Tim and Kate directly and I hope you will do so.

Even if it is a little it can make a big difference to them.  They plan to restart their business, called The Book Collector, to continue their dream of being booksellers.

Here’s the link to the Go Fund Me account setup for them:

Just think if we were in these circumstances how better would feel when others help us in this way.

I hope you can assist Tim and Kate.
