I have been invited to give a presentation about managing risks and threat on March 11th, at College of Business Administration, Sacramento State, before the MBA class for Entrepreneurial Resource Management.
I will take a big picture view of managing risks and threats that face employees, management and their organizations that are created from the decisions made, tasks perform and the overall operations of an enterprise.
Through a dialogue with the graduate students, we will discuss an assessment approach, beginning with why workers’ compensation insurance is the “Heart” of an organization’s insurance and risk management program.
An assessment takes employers through a review and discover process and helps them understand what risks and threats which should concern them; it shares how all of the insurance and risk management tools/policies are interrelated; it shows why these tools must be coordinated and managed to achieve the best outcomes; and determines the WHY this process will affect the financial success of the organization.
