Employers, the Time has arrived for you to Post Your OSHA Log

On February 1st of each year many employers are required to post information about their work place injuries and illnesses that took place in the prior year.

The process is fairly straight forward and there are many resources available to help you complete this annual task.

First, you may want to determine if you even have the responsibility to comply. Go to the OSHA Industry List to view if you must do so or that you may avoid this task.

Next, you will need to have the forms available to complete and to then you can fill them out. Go to the BLR Safety Library for more information and directions.

Also, your insurance advisor should be able to provide you with the resource data to complete the calculations and help you through this process.

This is an easy task to overlook or to just put off doing, but when OSHA comes by to visit, the hassles and potential fines are just not worth it.

Put this date on your organization’s calendar and start early.

Now go get it done!
