A colleague, Jill Jaworski, just distributed an important message to all members of our office staff and I felt it was important so I am passing it on to you.
Along with the attachment here is what Jill said:
“It is fall and a chill is in the air. Thoughts of warm, cozy fall and the smells of fall are nice. However, for office safety we need to remind everyone that use of open flame candles and Incense burning is prohibited. Not only is it a fire safety issue but also air quality exposure issue. Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) issue. What is pleasant and refreshing to one may not be so to another, especially if they have allergies to a certain scents/aroma.
Attached is a “risk management” guide regarding candles in the office. It lists all the hazards burning a candle causes.”

I hope these comments help you and members of your organization to enjoy the Fall Season.
