Workers’ Comp Rate Decrease for California Employers?
It was just announced that employers could enjoy some rate decrease, but the details of how each employer will benefit is not clear. The effect of this rate change will depend upon the nature of the employer’s business, their location, claims history, and other factors. So, this is not a cross the board reduction. In fact, some rates will increase dramatically. So, reach out to your insurance advisor to learn how you may be affected.

Barrette Business Services, Inc., aka BBSI Information About Their Finances
There is more press about the financial status of BBSI. This company provides worker’s compensation and HR services to employers in California and some other States.
The essence of the new information is that BBSI’s financial statements for the last few years is questionable. As a result, the value of their stock may be delisted by the exchange that trades their stock.
