The Sacramento Employer Advisory Council invites you to spend the morning with our panel of experts on employee benefits from The Affordable Care Act (ACA) to Workers’ Comp and everything in between. In this informative seminar, you will learn about the final rules for the ACA, the employer shared responsibility mandate, transitional relief that you may be entitled to, waiting periods, fees that must be paid, how to count variable hour employees, exchanges, partial self-funding, skinny health plans, technology, wellness and employer reporting requirements. Our Speakers: Sally Wineman is Area Vice President and Compliance Counsel with Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. Throughout her 20-year tenure in the employee benefits industry, Sally has specialized in developing effective strategies for organizational compliance with rules and regulations impacting employee benefits. Prior to joining Gallagher, she worked in private legal practice. Tom Bone, Risk Insurance Advisor and Insurance Broker with ISU Insurance Services. With over 30 years of experience as an advisor, he helps employers address the risks and threats to organizations and to the personal assets of their decision makers. He holds the professional designation of Professional WorkComp Advisor and One Responsible Source Advisor. Laurie Rood, CEO, Broker/Consultant of Benefits Done Right Insurance Agency.
