New Laws for California Employers

Here’s a short summary of topics being presented: California employers will soon need to adjust themselves to a new reality once again as several new workplace legislations takes effect in 2018. From ‘banning the box’ to prohibiting pay history inquiries, next year presents significant new requirements and challenges for California employers. Let’s not forget about dealing with “Weed at Work” and the applications of this law, Proposition 64. Employment attorney Benjamin M. Ebbink will present on these and other newly enacted laws, and will give California employers the tools necessary to remain compliant in 2018.
