As every employer in California knows the start of each calendar year brings with it new laws, regulations, and cases that impact not only what the requirements are for employers, but impact how the employer conducts itself on a day-to-day basis. Sacramento Employer Advisory Council (SEAC) presents their end of year workshop to help California employers with their annual “housekeeping” and get them ready for a successful 2016.
Local human resource professionals and legal experts will provide their insight and expertise with: * Updates to employee policies and procedures * Strategies and requirements for employee hiring, including “onboarding” and new * Knowing the new statutes and regulations, as well as cases, that employers must comply with and that impact how employers comply with existing laws. In addition, for those employers looking for a convenient way to keep their supervisors up-to-date for their AB1825 mandatory sexual harassment training, SEAC is offering training in the afternoon.
